Karaga Utsava 2012 (CHANDRA-MOULESHVARA TEMPLE)

After successful Blood donation camp, we all got a chance to be part of KARAGA UTSAV from CHANDRAMOULESHVARA Temple, Gandhinagar.

It was a new experience to all SUPER SALIS,
though we have seen Karaga in TV’s, we never knew how the entire program was performed.

06-04-2012, WE grabbed this opportunity to volunteer and make this Event successful. On Karaga Utsav, Many temples decorated their Chariots with flowers, lights, and many other decorative items to make it look like The Grand Princess Chariot.
In Chandramouleshvara Temple also, we all got the chance to decorate the CHANDRAMOULESHVARA CHARIOT. Temple authorities did the major jobs, and we just got an experience by assisting them in whatever way they needed.

In Chandramouleshvara Temple also, we all got the chance to decorate the CHANDRAMOULESHVARA CHARIOT. Temple authorities did the major jobs, and we just got an experience by assisting them in whatever way they needed.

We all pulled chariot with huge Electrifying Energy which continued almost continuously for more than 24 hours.  May be this is the first time; we all were awake for more than 24hrs continuously.
We all carried Whistles, Blowers, Horns, etc. The chariot was toured inside various streets of
chick pet, cubbonpet, cotton pet, majestic etc.

Many other Chariots from surrounding areas, majority of them from Swakulasali community had gathered at one common place in BVK Iyengar road. This is a common place, where all Chariots gather.

When Karaga came, Sky was the limit for our happiness. Cheering all around
 “GOVINDA!  GOVINDA!”, Dancing, whistling, praising Lord, was truly electrifying moments.

We all were pleased at end of this event, when temple authorities asked to support every year similarly, and they promised to make FLOWER PALLAKI next year if we support them.
We all were happy with this chance to serve LORD.

Thanks to temple authorities. You have given a Religious platform for us to explore ourselves attaining DIVINE spirits among individuals. We would surely be part of this religious events in future.
